The one who spoke to me first was the navy blue blazer. Seriously, formally, he told me there were upset clothes. After all, some closet doors were not even open anymore. There were angry pieces; others, sad.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat black sequin blouse has lost its brightness,” he told me.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was no reason to dress up so much to stay at home,\u201d I argued.<\/p>\n

The black skirt entered the conversation:<\/p>\n

“Look, we, the classics, are used to spending time aside. We understand it as a vacation because we know: then you come back. But those people from the other sections lived in revelry. You better go and explain yourself. Take it easy. Everyone is with nerves on the weft. It is difficult to stay so long locked up.\u201d<\/p>\n

With a thousand buttons! I always gave strength to those who wanted to come out of the closet. Now, I will have to face my closet. I opened the doors and, I confess, some clothes, I didn’t even recognize. A fire-red blouse shot ironic:<\/p>\n

\u201cLook! Long time, no see!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHi, people! It\u2019s everything all right?\u201d, I stammered, a little embarrassed.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow so? We’ve been locked up for weeks without seeing the sunlight. I’m with you up to the neck,\u201d said the turtleneck.<\/p>\n

\u201cGuys, we live difficult days with this new coronavirus. I’m not leaving anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut you’re working at home. So? You never wandered in your pajamas\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSure, but then I wear up a kaftan.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Look, pashmina. She thinks it’s chic to wear kaftan”,\u00a0 <\/span>replied the silk blouse.<\/p>\n

“She doesn’t prestige us,” replied the pashmina scarf.<\/p>\n

“What are you talking about? Yes, I value you. A day in with a necklace, another day out with a bracelet. Anyway, always with a nice Bijou to highlight.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, no, no!\u201d,\u00a0 <\/span>pointed the ring. And it sentenced:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other day, you commented: “Better lose the rings than the fingers\u201d. I never thought to hear that from you. I thought you would always give me a hand, now, I don’t know anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGuys, you have to be more understanding. Look at the big warm coat. It’s been a long time in the closet and doesn’t complain.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>\u201cBut, on the other hand, when it leaves, it is to get to the airport, see new people, different foods, wonderful places. So it’s easy\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

“But I have such affection for you guys. How many people hang out of one garment over another? Here, each one has its hanger. Come on, I’m feeling wronged.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat sentimentality doesn’t suit you. And this story about my hanger, my life proves nothing. Aren’t you the crazy lady of the shoes? Go to the shoe rack to see their situation. Like a prison overpopulation. On top of each other. Everything’s tight. And now, not even sunbathing. Horrible!\u201d – denounced the bag.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>\u201cI understand this necessity of going out. I didn’t want to go through this either. I’m sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

“I’m sorry?\u201d Replied the belt. \u201cWe lived close together. I shared with you the joys of jumping into the hole on the right. And you didn’t even bother to come earlier. Well, from what I see, when we go out again, it will jump, but in the opposite direction, right, jeans?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLooking, well, I think that tight little body doesn’t belong to me anymore”, it laughed together with its bell-mouth pants.<\/p>\n

“Enough! It is already too much! Pay attention: the latest trend in fashion is “stay at home”, understand? Stay home! And that is what everyone should do.\u201d<\/p>\n

I slammed the doors, but before I left the room, I heard my favorite dress comment with the others:<\/p>\n

\u201cDid not say? She got masked.\u201d<\/p>\n
